British heavy metal crusaders Tank recently extended their record deal with Metal Mind Productions, the label that re-released the band's back catalogue and issued their recent albums War Machine (2010) and War Nation (2012). Now, the recording is underway for the new Tank studio album scheduled for release in Europe on June 8th and in the US on June 9th. Titled Valley Of Tears, this will be the first album to feature the vocals of former DragonForce frontman ZP "Zippy" Theart.

The album will also feature Bobby Schottkowski, formerly of Sodom, on drums and current Blind Guardian member Barend Courbois on bass.
