Singer Tommy Rogers shares: "Coma Ecliptic is a new life for BTBAM. Throughout the process we worked harder than we ever have and really pushed the BTBAM sound to a new identity. In a world of repetition, I'm very proud to be a part of something that is extremely rewarding, as well as frightening. When you don't push yourself you will never know what the outcome is. The outcome is Coma Ecliptic."

Pre-order here with special bundles and packages offered, including: CD, LP, two pre-order exclusive t-shirts, an exclusive hour long behind the scenes making-of DVD, and a Coma Ecliptic limited edition movie poster.

I found this seriously interesting and rather different, and my anticipation for the new album has only increased. I've pretty much loved everything from the band since Colors and I don't think this album will change that

Certainly more light-hearted, less aggressive and down on tempo a bit. I remember Tommy saying they'd to make you work for the 'pretty parts' ie. after the long harsh/heavy/technical sections you'd get treated with the clean vocals and relaxing parts. Such a system of writing seems less apparent here, I wonder if this will be indicative of the mood of the rest of the album.

Yeah, the first bit there I was thinking, this sounds less like BTBAM and more like, you know... other prog. But then they showed up fully in form. Definitely looking forward to this album.
