Slayer - Headlining Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival


Slayer have just been confirmed as the headliners for this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, the self-proclaimed world's biggest heavy music touring festival. The festival enters its eighth year with Slayer, who recently completed their new album, headlining the shows. Additional performances from King Diamond, Hellyeah, and The Devil Wears Prada will round off the Rockstar Energy Drink Main Stage. The Victory Records Stage will feature Whitechapel, Thy Art Is Murder, Jungle Rot, Sister Sin, Sworn In, Shattered Sun, Feed Her To The Sharks, Code Orange, and Kissing Candice.

It's not that they're bad, just overbooked in my opinion. They've headlined this tour in the past many times, and they're always touring the same venues. Great, classic band but I would love to see a less heralded band headline this festival...it just gets overdone booking the same bands over and over.

Slayer never gets old. They are legends and one of the greatest metal bands ever in my opinion. I could see them every year and never get sick of them. They always deliver.

Yep. If you've ever wanted to see Reign in Blood played at half the speed, look no further.

I'm just hoping that King Diamond's stage setup remains intact even though they're not headlining and have many other bands on the bill.
