Destrose - Announce Indefinite Hiatus

After a turbulent ten years, Japanese heavy metallers Destrose have announced they'll be going on an indefinite hiatus from July. No specific reason was given for the decision, but the all-female outfit has been dogged by lineup issues throughout its existence. They were dealt a particularly severe blow back in February, when founding guitarist Mina bowed out for good.

Destrose will suspend activities on July 18th, after a performance at The Live Station in Tokyo.

Crap... and these gals were among the better ones out of the all female japanese metal bands. Their debut and that EP were fabulous.

On the upside, look who's back.

Then what was the whole ordeal of her exiting touring activity and even studio activity with Destrose? Was there more beneath the surface of her decision? I mean, this whole action basicaly refutes the motives of her departure. Anyway, nice to see her back! Was happy that also the former Aldious vocalist is back too with her new band.

Looks like the Destrose split had more to do with her drifting apart from Narumi and the newer members (i.e. Lisa), most of whom she didn't know so well due to rarely being on the road with them. Her new band Fate Gear seems to have grown out of her Animeta Girl project: the singer Nico (Imoto Toguro) was a session vocalist for "Animeta Girl Vol.1". They've got their first album out in August - mostly new tracks with a couple of Destrose numbers - but I don't have high hopes based on this.

Hmmm, yeah quite a possibility there. I listened to the song you posted and I do like it. The mixing is done kinda bad, the drum sound is in the front a little bit. An infusion of speed would've made it greater. Well, lets hope she can pull out a good number.
