Emptiness - Working On New Album, Sign To Season Of Mist

Season of Mist has made a new signing. The Belgian blackened death metal menace Emptiness will release their next full-length on the label and has joined their family. The quartet is currently working on a follow-up to the immersive Nothing But The Whole. They are hoping to release it next year and we are hoping we get to hear it soon.

Regarding their signing, Emptiness comment: "We are currently working on the follow-up to Nothing But The Whole, for which our aim is to release it in late 2016 on our new label Season of Mist. We also would like to thank Dark Descent for supporting us in our decision and for helping to spread the seeds of the void. Important news will follow in due time."

What, what, what? The latest pisses all over Error.

It's different, the latest is very atmospheric. Error was much more aggressive.

Error was good for what it was, but the new one is something else for me. Unique for sure.

I really liked Error when it came out and I totally saw them as a band to keep tabs on. The latest proved to be true as it made them pretty unique.

Yes, much.

Thanks for providing a link when I'm too lazy to do so

Also, I have a feeling they might go a different route this time again, none of their albums seem to sound like one another (haven't heard the debut, so might be an exeption there) so I hope they don't try to recreate Nothing But The Whole, it would be futile anyways.

I'm hoping for an ambient dronewave album myself.
