Hardcore punk outfit Venomous Concept featuring Kevin Sharp and Dan Lilker (ex-Brutal Truth), Shane Embury and Danny Herrera (Napalm Death), and John Cooke (Corrupt Moral Altar), will release their new album, Kick Me Silly - VC III on January 8th via Season Of Mist. If that is not enough to get you excited, in anticipation, the band has premiered their new song, "Rise", and you can hear it here.





Venomous Concept was conceived as something like a grind punk supergroup - if that term can even be applied to a bunch of people with clear counter culture preferences. The name was quite obviously chosen as a homage to the legendary Poison Idea.
