Bloodway - Release New Song
Bloodway have released their debut full-length album, Mapping The Moment With The Logic Of Dreams, this September. But on the occasion of the winter solstice, they have released a new song, "The Space Between Us Is The Shape Of Light" which is to serve as an exclusive bonus track on the album, as it appears, only on the digital version. The massive song can be heard here.
This message was posted on Facebook, written by Costin Chioreanu: "We feel like is too much darkness and hatred around us, lately. It is way too much, more than we could ever imagine, more than we were able to feel or resist in this world. This is the main reason for which we decided to make this song. The other reasons only support the main one. In my view, the 25th day of December means the moment when day becomes longer than night and the Sun is bit higher than the lowest point on sky where we could see it until now.
"Another reason for which we created this song lies in some kind of group therapy that has to be made. I will not enter into details because I do not want to become one of those who profit by tragedies in order to get attention. This song's designation is to spread light and celebrate life on this Planet and the love for life, not for death! I am asking you please to keep in mind that this song has nothing to do with other religious celebrations that are happening in the same moment for one reason or another. The way that our spirituality manifests is not included in any canon that is to be found in the religious texts.
"This song should be a surprise for everyone, both in stylistic terms and in its pure apparition, because no one except the band knew about our plan. Not even Marius Costache (our studio guy, sound engineer, friend and so on) because this song is the first audio material made without his help and this happens because we wanted to make him a surprise and let's hope is a good one. We made the recordings and I took care of the mix and master. Our interest was to create a tighter link between this song and nature. We choose water as the singular element to illustrate this song and we filmed the melting process using the microscope. We thought that this was a good metaphor to illustrate the notion of rebirth and transformation that defines the natural cycle. So, you will see below the result of this experiment wherein water became the artist who painted the images that guard the music.
"So, here we go, here is a totally reinterpreted instrumental version of the 'Garden Of Diurnal Fractals' song, taken from the Mapping The Moment With The Logic Of Dreams album. The length of this version is twice as long as the original one and is called 'The Space Between Us Is The Shape Of Light'. You can find it as a bonus track on the digital version of the album, exclusively on Bloodway's Bandcamp page. Enjoy!
