Daaaaaamn, Erik Wunder still got it. The caustic riffs and animalistic drums are intact. I also think that Charlie Fell turned out to be a good choice for a vocalist. Not surprising given the crazy shit he did with Lord Mantis.

So excited for this. A shining example of why Charlie is one of the best vocalists in metal today.

I love everything except the vocals.

I really like Charlie Fell in other stuff, but here he just sounds a bit weak and meh, and a tad annoying.

I don't think the song is particularly amazing either; feels like it lacks some of the caustic deliciousness of the previous two records. I'll wait to hear the whole thing before deciding how I feel about these developments.

Wouldnt call it a huge meh, but indeed it lacks the intensity of EoB and those nice toolish touches in Gin. Maybe sits in between without having the greatness of either. Let's see what happens next.

First listening - missing Phil
Second time - maybe the idea to replace Phil was no so bad
Third time - yeah Wunder still crushing
Fourth time - AOTY contender !

Not too bad. Definitely missing most of the menace and intensity of EoB. I'll pass.

It's not bad but it lacks the agression of EoB and has some of the annoying riff redundance of Gin...

I know EoB will never be matched but I hope it'll still be somewhat good...

Charlie reminds me of Mike IX Williams of Eyehategod in both vocal sound and appearance.

I dont hear the vocal resemblance at all but he does indeed look like a chunky version of Mike.

Haha, I was thinking he was the chunky version as well. I need to listen to him more, but from the first few listens, I am hearing some similarities. Maybe a similar 'hardcore' vocal approach.

Can't say I'm terribly excited after hearing this track. It sounds good, don't get me wrong. But as others have said, the raw aggression seems to be lacking.
