Secrets Of The Sky - Break Up
Secrets Of The Sky's latest album Pathway is one of the nominees on 2015 Metal Storm Awards for Best Melodic Black Metal Album. But sadly, they are breaking up. Garett Gazay has left the promising band and three other members decided to start a new project and move on.
Guitarist Andrew Green explained in a statement: "Hey everyone, Andy here... Due to recent circumstances, Garett Gazay will no longer be a part of Secrets Of The Sky. Ryan, Lance, and myself have decided to move on and start a new project. It's been a fucking blast over these last 4+ years and we love each and every one of you who came out to any of our shows. We've met some incredible people along our journey, and made friends with many killer bands. Good luck to all of you who live your lives on the road. Stay true to yourselves and to your music.
"We want to thank Metal Blade Records for all of the help they've given us throughout this last year, plus a very special thank you to Kelli Malella who has bent over backwards for us, probably more than she needed to and more than we deserved. We are forever grateful to you! Another special thanks to David Rodgers of Godhunter and Battleground Records. Thank you for helping us with some of the business side of things, but more importantly for all of the times you and Miki let us crash at your house, fed us, and for just being genuinely good people. Someday down the road our paths may cross again. Until then, Cheers!"
