This could be interesting. Devin Townsend has been confirmed for the new convention type event called HeavyCon in London for three days starting on Friday September 30th. Devin will be speaking in the main auditorium on the Friday, conducting a guitar master-class on Saturday, and people will be able to hear new Devin Townsend music on Sunday. He will also be signing autographs and meeting fans all throughout the weekend.

Alex Skolnick, lead guitarist of thrashers Testament, will be hosting two guitar master-classes at the event and Gene Simmons (KISS) will be heading up the lineup of guests and speakers at HeavyCon.

HeavyCon is a new three-day event, the first of which is to be held in the London's largest and most prestigious exhibition centre, ExCeL, London. The show will take place on the 30th September-2nd October 2016. HeavyCon is a fan-driven show, similar in format to Comic and Fan events, but aimed at metal and rock music.
