Metallica - Release Live Clip Of New Song

Metal icons Metallica just recently revealed their thrashy new single and new album, Hardwired...To Self-Destruct. Shortly after that, the group also debuted the new song live for the first time at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and filmed the occasion. You can now watch that performance here and see how the brand new song works in a live setting.

The anticipated new Metallica album will drop on November 18th and feature two discs of nearly 80 minutes of music.

Really? I like it.

Sounds more like Metallica than Metallica has sounded in 30 years...especially James. I mean, it's no "...and Justice for All", but it definitely has a lot more heart than that Load/Re-Load and St. Anger bullshit.

The drum like playing in marching band..... if they can hired some drummer with basic double pedal skill, it might be interesting.

Glad you love it James.....I sure as hell don't. I don't think they have it in them to write a good song anymore. They seem to be pre-occupied with what the "trending" sound of the moment is. This was painful to listen to.

Well, certainly not to the standard of Metallica but tagging "trending" sound is little off the mark.

I don't any see any bit of a note hit by James & Co. in this new track comes out of so called "trending" sound. As i said, the only issue here lies in drum section.

Maybe you don't but I do. Ever since the Loads where they decided they were gonna wear eyeliner and headline Paloozer as if they were "alternative",then comes the St. Anger nu-metal fiasco, DM I refuse to even listen and now that thrash has made its 20 year circle back around in popularity with Anthrax's new disc getting praise,Slayer still Slayer,Exodus making some kickass albums and now here is Llica(n metal left) with a feeble attempt at reliving the time when they did play metal. I heard Lars even say before we'll leave that (referring to thrash) to younger bands because thats not who we are anymore.
