Disillusion - Launch Patreon Campaign To Support New Album

Disillusion have decided to launch a Patreon campaign to help financially support their future third album. Having mainly broken even with the profit earned by the release of their EP Alea, the band felt it was necessary to ask the fans for their monetary backing in hopes of making their next masterpiece a reality.

For Disillusion, of course I'm going to dish out money. No questions asked.

Pay $15 a month for 12 months (so a total of $180) to get a CD? Really? These are some of the worst perks I've seen on a campaign.
Why Patreon anyway? Why not Indiegogo or Kickstarter, with fixed sums?
I really wanted to support them, but this is really demotivating...

Patreon isn't really meant for campaigns. This was a bit of a mistake to be honest.

I think I am gonna do it. The only other time time I did something like this was Rosetta's kickstarter campaign when their tour van broke down and they asked for money for the repairs. I was glad to help.

Absolutely supporting it. I can't go with 180$ but I'm going to buy the record anyway when it comes out.

I decided to pitch in 25 dollars / month. A lot of money to get a CD, but on the other hand, Back to Times of Splendor is probably my favorite CD alltime after CoL's Somewhere along the Highway, so it feels well worth it supporting them for me.

And it's not a kickstarter to fund the album, it's a kickstarter to support Andy in his writing. So there's a difference.
