Blind Guardian - Announce Live Album

Metal legends Blind Guardian have announced the release of their third live album, entitled Live Beyond The Spheres. The massive, three-disc album has been recorded at various shows during the European tour in 2015 and the songs cover most of the band's discography, from the oldest hits to the brand new material.

"In general I would say that we've had a really good run on this tour and that nearly every show was perfect. But at the end of the day, after every band-member has checked each and every song and concert of those 30 shows again and again, there were only like two or three versions of each song being suitable to be used for an album. We then had to decide between those last remaining versions, which would have been the most impressive one. This was a nearly endless task!" - comments Blind Guardian's frontman, Hansi Kursch.

Live Beyond The Spheres will premiere on July 7th via Nuclear Blast and will be available in 3CD/4LP formats.

Well at least it's nice and refreshing to see a different artwork artist than the previous one (ugh).

Unlike certain bands, BG release live albums very sparringly, so I expect a fantastic show(s). They are great live, I'm sure they managed to exhibit some of their energy here. Can't wait!

Seeing no tracks from Somewhere far beyond is really disappointing. I know they already have a large discography but still remains one of their best albums.

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
