Satyricon - Release Brand New Single

Black metal legends, Satyricon, are set to release their highly anticipated ninth studio album, Deep Calleth Upon Deep, on 22nd September via Napalm Records. Just recently the iconic duo revealed the album title track and now Satyricon unleash their second single, entitled "To Your Brethren In The Dark".

The band's mastermind, Satyr, informs us: "'To Your Brethren In The Dark' is definitely one of the flagship songs on the record. This is about emotion, our nature, the spirits, the autumn, the somber and rainy days, those who we lost and the ones who we have not met yet. You could say it is a tribute to the sorrow in man and to the drama of the nature we surround ourselves with. A song for the dark towers of the past and those who will rise in the future. Pass the torch to your brethren in the dark."

The full album was uploaded on youtube (dunno for how long it will be there tho), and i must say that the album of the year is very likely to be here. The two killer songs already available are the tip of the iceberg. Wait until you hear The Ghost of Rome. What a great song. Drums are varied and awesome. The layers of guitar work even in the simpler songs are gracefuly crafted. Satyr snarls are his best since Volcano.
Masterpiece.
