Taake - Debut Track From Upcoming Album


If you are up for some new Taake material, you can now listen to "Inntrenger" which is the first single the Norwegian black metal band releases from the upcoming album, Kong Vinter. The band's seventh full-length album will be released on Dark Essence Records on the 24th of November. As of now, you can enjoy a new 7-minute track below or via Bandcamp.

I always forget to properly check this band out. Probably because I got enough of second-wave black metal bands to keep me happy. Besides the amazing banjo-song from the previous album... I don't know much haha. The song was allright I guess. Good riffs and melodies but nothing more.

Rod: the banjo song was like 3 albums / 6 years ago. Poor Hoest really painted himself into a corner with that one, he did.

Agreed on all the rest, though; Same feelings here.

If you feel like getting into Taake, I highly recommend Bjoergvin, Noregs Vaapen, and Doedskvad. Noregs Vaapen has the banjo song, and it's one of my favorite albums.
