Download Festival 2018 - Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N' Roses Confirmed
After announcing Ozzy Osbourne as their first headliner, the Download Festival 2018 organizers have now announced the two other headliners: Avenged Sevenfold and Guns N' Roses. The U.K. festival will take place at Castle Donington from 8-10 June 2018. Many more bands will still be announced for the fest.
This will be The Prince of Darkness' first ever headlining Download solo set. The legendary rock icon will close the UK's premier rock and metal festival on Sunday night. The headline set will be part of Ozzy Osbourne's final world tour.
Avenged Sevenfold will return to Download Festival once more, to give a momentous Friday night headline performance.
On the road since April 2016 and over 100 shows later, the resurgent Guns N' Roses are back and coming to Download Festival. Since reuniting last year for the first time since 1993, it's their first UK festival appearance of the classic line up featuring frontman Axl Rose, guitar legend Slash and original bassist Duff McKagan, plus Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese.
