Melvins - Streaming New Track, Releasing Album


The highly prolific Melvins can't be stopped and they are releasing another new album! The group is releasing Pinkus Abortion Technician on April 20th via Ipecac Recordings, featuring both ongoing bass player Steven McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Butthole Surfers Jeff Pinkus on bass. For now, you can listen to "Stop Moving To Florida" below which is a medley of the James Gang's "Stop" and Butthole Surfers' "Moving To Florida." The band also covers the Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and Butthole Surfers' "Graveyard" on the eight-song release.

Well, I can happily say I'm not a part of that migration then, as someone who's local born. Hey, maybe that's part of why there are no Florida dates on this tour though.... could complain, but already seen em twice in South Florida in years past, so not like they don't come down here at all. Maybe King Buzzo and co. are getting a little weary with the cocaine and gator capital of the world
