Recently, it was announced that Dark Forest (UK) is working on a new album but now the band has lost their bassist Paul Thompson and is seeking a replacement.

Dark Forest (UK) explained: "After ten years in the Greenwood, Paul Thompson is stepping down as bassist for Dark Forest (UK)! We have shared many journeys and experiences with Paul and we'd like to thank him for all the hard work, time and energy he has put into the band over the years.

"Paul is an incredible bassist whose skill and contribution will be sorely missed. He has been and will continue to be a good friend of the band and we wish him all the very best for the future! Therefore from today, May Day, we are officially seeking a new bassist to join Dark Forest (UK)! Those with skill and a true heart who wish to join our merry band, write to us at info@darkforest.co.uk. To everyone else, let your Beltane fires burn bright on the hillside!"
