Ghost - Milwaukee Show Cut Short After Fan Collapses, Dies

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has reported that the sold-out Ghost Milwaukee concert was cut short last Thursday after a fan collapsed. He died later Thursday night. The band has said that "in Milwaukee there was a medical emergency with one of our fans. We decided not to continue out of respect to him and his family." After learning of his passing, they released another statement sending their condolences to the family.

Ghost posted via Facebook: "This morning we learned that the man transported to the hospital from our show last night in Milwaukee passed away from natural causes. Our hearts are broken for him and his family. Once again we ask that you send the family your thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences and respect their right to privacy during this time."

According to the reports, the band had just announced an intermission around 9:15 p.m. when a man in the pit fell to the ground, concertgoer Alexander Stafford told the Journal Sentinel.

Fans flagged security for help, CPR was issued, and people were cleared out of the venue, Stafford said. Around 9:45 p.m., security began telling people that the show was canceled, he said.

The Milwaukee Medical Examiner said the man was transported to Columbia St. Mary's hospital, where he died later Thursday evening of natural causes. No autopsy was planned. His name and other details were not released.

Ghost has just released their new album, Prequelle.

Apparently, fan collapsed onto the floor due to heart stopped and paramedics(later arrived on the scene) try to give CPR but unable to retain him.

Rest in peace. Must be tragic for his family.
He was in the pit having a great time, a true warrior.

A GoFundMe has been set up by fans to assist his family with final expenses. The goal was $1,000 but donations are nearing $10,000. Just amazing. https://www.gofundme.com/jeffrey-allan-fortune-remembrance
