Michael Romeo - Debuts Another New Song
After announcing his solo album, War Of The Worlds / Pt. 1, and the first taste of new material, proggers Symphony X's guitarist Michael Romeo has shared another tune from the record. Watch below his brand new 7-minute lyric video for "Djinn." Turn up the sound!
Michael says: "This is one of my favorite riffs on the album. The album title is 'War of the Worlds', but in this case, the 'Worlds' refers to the worlds of politics and religion."
His eagerly anticipated first official solo album will be released on July 27th through Music Theories Recordings/Mascot Label Group. Symphony X fans have been waiting two decades for an honest to goodness Michael Romeo solo album (not counting his 1994 demo recording, The Dark Chapter, which was released in several countries).

Another great song by a veteran metal composer. I thought from the 4-6 min mark roughly speaking was the most interesting part.

Simply OMG - progressive or progressive power or power metal album of the year  And I will be shocked, if this stuff won't earn any nomination this year, yep... ...this is going to be the last chance for metal storm staff to prove, that they have any musical taste. And why metal storm staff don't have taste? Because of zero nomination for last Adagio album.

I don't know the metal storm staff personally but from comments on this page, you can tell that people prefer "brutal", "aggressive", "melancholic", "atmospheric" over beautiful melodies, harmonies, professional and good vocals etc...
