Suddenly that lousy rapper from the previous album became more tolerable compared to this nu-metal tattooed and manicured poseur. Whatever that guy touches turns to shit.

I have to just laugh. What the fuck was that? Couldn't even finish listening to it. Sound is too repulsive to be called music.

Oh good, my English professor would have an aneurysm with the amount of cliche lines within these lyrics.

I was always bothered by the amount of cliches among symphonic and power metal lyrics in general. ("Forever and ever" probably being the most prolific one) but Within Temptation... Within Temptation is something else @_@.

Gees, thats harsh. Not gonna sit here and say Papa Roach is a good band, cause they aren't, but Getting Away With Murder is a goddam classic. And lets be real, WT can turn this album to shit without Shaddix's help.
But anyway, song is passable. Better than some of the other lousy bands that get played SXM Octane on my commute. I'm sure i'll hear it a thousand times.

Don't see what's classic in a turd. Papa Roach is among the worst bands, from any genre, that has walked on this earth, very similar with a lot of the post-grunge catastrophes. And their bad music is exacerbated by their annoying frontman. He reeks of poseurism through and through and has a very annoying voice, sort of like humanity facing a pandemic. Then again what can you expect from a guy that names his band 'Papa Roach'...

The instrumental isn't bad for WT but those melodies and lyrics, goodness... Gonna be real scared listening to this thing.

Many bands are way passed their best before date and don't realize when to call it quits (yes I'm talking to you Rob Flynn). All That Remains is another good example. They've been releasing horse shit since drummer Shannon Lucas left the band. Oh, and don't get me started on In Flames...

When you talk about hating anything nu-metal, grunge, post-grunge with your "choice of vocabulary" makes you another poser, not a metal demigod.

First of all, you assume that I hate everything nu-metal or grunge, which is not true. I like Korn, and I have been a fan for over 15 years of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and the very underrated grunge album Diva, by My Sister's Machine. But it is true that I hate post-grunge, who doesn't? Boo-hoo, calling me a poser for what? For expressing the truth? I am the one who tattoos every inch of his body and gets manicured on every step and poses like a Duracell bunny moron in front of cameras at concerts, press or interviews? Get over it, and clean your ears.
I hear people complaining that WT used a rapper in one of their songs from the previous album, yet I find it odd how nobody complains about having a moronic poseur infesting their albums with his own non-talent and annoying post-grunge voice.

The only thing I assume is you think you're right, because you define TRUTH, and anyone saying anything else is wrong. There's no point in arguing with people like you.
And by the way this track didn't need anyone other than WT themselves to be awful.

Any connections this track might have with 'Symphonic Metal' is entirely accidental. I like Sharon's voice, but I feel like this band has been taking a very steep road towards a more 'electro-pop-rock' sound, with or without the needless guest noice by Papa Roach's vocalist (who I can't but to note has no relevancy in today's industry). Honestly, knowing the Dutch and their general music perferances, I'd say they are not far from having a guest DJ for the next track, which would most likely end the band's career in the metal scene.

Well, Sharon does already have Armin van Buuren in her phonebook...
