Rebellion - Split With Guitarist
After releasing A Tragedy In Steel Part II: Shakespeare's King Lear this year, German heavy metal guards Rebellion have now split with guitarist Oliver Geibig. He was in band since 2011 but now leaves on "friendly terms and in mutual consent", according to the band. Presently, the band is looking for a new guitar player that should join the band in the beginning of next year.
The band explained: "There are news from Rebellion. The band announces the split from guitarist Oliver Geibig. The breakup happened on friendly terms and in mutual consent. The leaving guitar player and Tomi Göttlich still play together in the band The Magic of Radio: Oliver Geibig had joined band in 2011 and produced among others the latest release of the band A Tragedy In Steel Part II: Shakespeare's King Lear, released via Massacre Records in 2018."

Once sserved in Harald ranks and traveled to rapids from Kiev, german viking loving metal warlords Rebelion anounced that 2 members drummer Tommy Telkemeier(2016-2020) and guitarist Stephan Karut (2011-2020) left the band. Since MS missed band ha snew guitarist from 2019 Martin Giemza Rebellion 20 hrs · Statement of Tomi Göttlich concerning the leave of Stephan Karut and Tommy Telkemeier: Stephan has been in the Band for years, we had already been friends before he joined and it was great playing with him in one band. Stephan has written fantastic songs for Rebellion and his Rhythm guitar will be greatly missed but it was Stephan´s own decision to leave the band for his very own reasons (nothing personal here) and that will not affect our connection. As with Uwe and Olli before I will try to do all I can to maintain a friendship beyond the band. I also wish Tommy good luck and success with all his projects. We thank him for the outstanding drumming he has delivered for King Lear, there are no harsh feelings at all. We have already found new musicians which are again local and very Metal. We shall introduce them in the near future ? Rebellion will go on ? stronger than ever!!! Stay tuned: Tomi Göttlic

Maybe wrong place, but I love this band, to me their and z wild are best ghm bands. 19th August band post Facebook post, that they are recording vocal parts of ned album. So far still 3 men strong, i wonder what are other members...
