Iron Man - Launch New Band 'Spiral Grave'
The surviving members of Maryland-based doom metal group Iron Man have announced a new project together, as vocalist Dee Calhoun, bassist Louis Strachan and drummer Jason "Mot" Waldmann have joined with guitarist Willy Rivera, who until this past summer was one of the essential figures behind Virginia sludge/stoner representatives Lord. The new band is called Spiral Grave, and it will mark the first outing from Waldmann, Strachan and Calhoun together since the death last January of Iron Man founder Alfred Morris III.
In February 2019, Spiral Grave will record their first single, and will take to the live stage.

Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 03.01.2019 at 17:50 With some years of practise in cryptography (special subject: uncommon and dead languages) for the german navy, I am daring to assume: Doed = Good (just 50% of the letters are messed up) im = Iron Man (an abbreviation only he knows) splits = split (either tense or declination is wrong) up = up (strike!) Edit: but it could also mean something completely different and just about anything. Maybe he is telling us that he just mowed the lawn?
