German heavy metallers Witchbound shared some sad news recently. They have confirmed that their guitarist Martin Winkler passed away, with no particular reasons given. Martin was also part of the German group Stormwitch (2000-2004). Official statement from Witchbound can be read below.

The band commented: "We are stunned and incredibly sad about the death of our friend and bandmate Martin "Heavy Martl" Winkler. Thanks for all you've done for us and the music world as guitar wizard, songwriter, producer and more. With your music, you live in our hearts. We can not say yet how Witchbound will continue. We have to process this big loss first. Please understand that we can not answer any questions during this difficult time."
