Perhaps we liked those bands nobody heard of more than the popular ones. You can still vote those popular ones and by all means you're free to do so. Though we do urge you to listen to those "nobody has heard of" ones since you mind find something you like more than what you were going to vote for. You have an entire month to vote, no need to rush with your most familiar name.

Yeah, I'm just being a smart ass. I've already listened to some of the albums I've never heard of, nothing has really jumped out yet, but as you say there's a whole month to vote.
And also as somebody else said, it really was a bad year for thrash from the "popular" bands, so I'm happy to listen to some stuff from the more underground

Don't mean to offend you in any way, but I can't take any comment of yours about things we've missed very seriously. The stuff you like has an average of 4 votes and a 5.5 rating and I don't think this is because everyone else on the site is completely ignorant but you.

That said there are way too many albums in the nominations that we haven't reviewed. I don't have the time to count right now but they must be more than half so your argument is not valid to begin with.
