Testament - Announce European Tour With Exodus And Death Angel

Three legendary Bay Area thrash metal groups - Testament, Exodus and Death Angel - will join forces for 'The Bay Strikes Back Tour' across Europe. Both Testament and Exodus are currently working on upcoming records, while Death Angel will be touring in support of their most recent one, Humanicide.

Testament's Chuck Billy comments: "It's finally happening! All of us have spoken over the years of how killer it would be to tour together and bring Bay Area Thrash Metal across the world and we are starting in Europe. I'm sure I can speak for all three bands in saying that we are proud of where we all came from and we are still delivering some of the best thrash metal we can to the fans. Be ready for the Bay Area Strikes Back Tour 2020."

Gary Holt from Exodus adds: "I am fired up to FINALLY return to Europe with Exodus! Along with our Bay Area friends Testament and Death Angel! An epic tour for the ages! Looking forward to crushing everyone Bay Area style! See you there! I cannot wait!"

Death Angel's Rob Cavestany states: "We couldn't be more excited to announce our upcoming tour with Testament and Exodus! Bay Area Thrash Attack in full force! All three bands have been close friends for decades and our mutual respect is of the highest level. That said, we will surely push each other to go beyond expectations each and every night. This is a first - the three of us have never toured together in the same package... it's about time! See you in the pit!"

Not sure that's always the case. I often think the same about American tours.

I'm all over this one though.

So far this year, I was lucky to see the following thrash bands in my city: Anthrax, Flotsam and Jetsam, Overkill and Destruction. So I'll add 3 more great thrash bands to this collection. I'm waiting for Kreator now!

Will have to stretch for this one. Hopefully I will be able to catch either Vienna or Munich date.

I remember attending this tour back in 2010: Kreator, Exodus, Death Angel, Suicidal Angels. What a night.

I live on the East Coast of the US, in Maryland. And metal bands haven't toured within 2 hours around the state since the early-90s, until about 4-5 years ago when Slayer and Testament decided to tour places they have not been to in many years. Now we get alot of metal bands. Including power metal bands like Hammerfall, DragonForce, Kamelot. And that was because of Kamelot touring here for the first time in Baltimore, back when the US started to riot over the Trump/Clinton election lol. But you don't get good lineups like this.
