Crypta - New Death Metal Project Featuring Ex-Nervosa Members

Former Nervosa bassist/vocalist Fernanda Lira and drummer Luana Dametto, who left the band last month because of personal reasons, have teamed up with guitarist Sonia "Anubis" Nusselder (Burning Witches) and ex-Hagbard guitarist Tainá Bergamaschi in a death metal-oriented band, called Crypta. The quartet, which was founded in June 2019, is currently working on the songs for their upcoming debut album. Further details should be announced soon.

All-female metal bands aren't inherently gimmicky but this one seems to fit that mold perfectly, with the focus placed on its members rather than the music.
