Marduk have announced that they have begun the recordings for their forthcoming new album, entitled "Cross Of Iron".

In a brief message the band state, "The recording of the new album has begun! More news regarding the album as well as tour plans will be posted soon."

This will be the band's last album to feature drummer Emil Dragutinovic. A replacment will be announced later on.

The album is set to be released early April, 2007 and will be followed by a massive tour.

I hope in another destructive album, Plague Angel was great in my opinion! Can't wait!

Yes man, it's a pity that it'll be the last album with Emil druming, but I'm sure that Marduk will find a new blasphemic drummer (do you imagine Hellhammer in Marduk?).
Plague Angel was a real great album.
By the way, does someone knows anything about Funeral Mist (a side project of Mortuus)?
