Testament's latest album Titans of Creation was released only five months ago, but in a recent interview on Steve "Zetro" Souza of Exodus' The Toxic Vault podcast, guitarist Eric Peterson stated that the band plans to work on new new music before they head back on the road next year. He also revealed that he has been working on a song with Saxon vocalist Biff Byford.

When Zetro suggested Testament write new material during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Peterson said: "We'll probably do a couple new songs before we go on tour...I've been working on stuff. I've been working on a project with Biff from Saxon right now. It's a song for some game, it's called Spin the Wheel. It came out pretty cool."

Peterson's comments follow up on Testament vocalist Chuck Billy saying over a month ago that the band could write another album during the pandemic.
