Within Temptation - New Single & 2007 European Tour
After their contribuition to the soundtrack of the MMO game "Chronicles of Spellborn (TCoS)" with the song "The Howling", Within Temptation will release new single in January 2007 titled "What Have You Done", featuring Keith Caputo (from Life of Agony) as guest singer.
The band will also start their european tour this spring, playing at festivals and concerts in several countries: the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

I rather liked 'The Howling' (after the rather lukewarm 'The Silent Force') so I'm optomistic about the new album despite the title of the single. Within Temptation are always far better live than on an album though, so thank the Gods their tour brings them back to the UK. However, compare that single title with Nightwish's 'Wish I Had an Angel' - awful title, good live song. Oh - and the cover art is wonderful!

i think The Howling and the other song made for that game are both really horrible, both titles, single and album title, are really horrible as well, coverart... dunno, i dont think it fits to their music on the other albums though so we'll see... and i love the silent force, i know that its their least popular release amongst metalheads, but i personally like it most

I like the cover artwork, but less the song... I hope the album will be as good as that masterpiece called The Silent Force!

The Silent Force seemed so toned down compared to Mother Earth. I'm still going to see them live though, regardless. They're much better live than on CD from what I have seen of live video recordings.
