Ex Deo - Wrapped Up The Work On Next Full Length Instalment
Ex Deo have finished the work on their fourth full length effort. The successor to 2017's The Immortal Wars will be entitled The Thirteen Years Of Nero and will land in stores in late summer through Napalm Records. More details coming at a later date.
States the band's vocalist Maurizio Iacono: "The new Ex Deo album The Thirteen Years Of Nero is now complete and it makes some of these so called "Controversial" look at me I'm satanic bands sound like Disney land metal.
"Behold NERO , the one they named the Antichrist .. taken from the books and the legends of history and made into a modern symphony of madness with the talented help of the twisted maestro Clemens "Ardek" Wijers and a colossal production via J-F Dagenais.
"The artistic and deadly vision of artist Seth Siro Anton Art Official has brought back from decay a glorious vision into the twisted soul of Nero, a true masterpiece. Ex Deo is set to re attach a big pair of "cojones" back to the word METAL!
"Release coming this late summer via Napalm Records. I can't wait to share the first single with you in just a few months AVE ROMA! I thank you for your patience."

At least he doesn't overpromise, right?  I'm excited to see how "controversial" this will be. The only controversy about them I know is whether the guy has actually any clue what he's singing about. Or did I miss out? Musically, so far, their records were standard symphonic death. First album had some cool moments and guest musicians but apart from that pretty standard. And please no more covers by Seth! I love Septic Flesh as a band but his art I can't stand anymore.
