Necrophagist - Announces New Drummer

German technical death metal band Necrophagist have issued the following update on their website:

Necrophagist is excited to announce Drumming phenomenon and luminary Marco Minnemman as the new permanent drummer. Marco will start playing drums for Necrophagist on the upcoming "Summer Slaughter" tour starting June 1st 2007, sponsored by Ibanez, TAMA and Revolver Mag.

The band is absolutely stoked to announce that Marco Minnemann will be drumming on the new Necrophagist album, due in 2008. We can't wait to work on arranging the new songs with such an incredibly talented, proficient and complete musician/composer. It should be cool to see a fusion drummer play for an extreme band! I hope mohammed will step back though and let the guy write his own drum parts this time, should be sick as shit.
Here is my actual theory beyond the huge, hilarious jokes I have: If you're so pro-life and you're so pro-child, then adopt one that's already here, that's very unwanted and very alone and needs someone to take care of it.

Marcos is very talented and a brilliant drummer, I watched him on YouTube but I have some fears about the Brutality of Necrophagist, he's a Jazz-Funk and experimental drummer, hope Necrophagist still Brutal!!
