I think it's a pretty good idea to spread the word into the masses, so they know what's going on in our scene.

Frankly im not surprised, black metal seems to becoming a fad.

Im not surprised at all since its MTV Norway, I mean, they play whatever sells, and I think that black metal is pretty popular on Norway (correct me if I am wrong =P)

I would only be surprice if gorgoroth premieres their video on MTV US or MTV UK, now that would be surprising!

Yeah, it sounds strange but in the end it's not a bad idea IMO! And, as said by 4look4rd, it's MTV Norway...

It's not that surprising to me. I've been seeing alot black metal bands have gone more "mainstream" and they're beeing shown on MTV nowadays...

Because in France there's no metal on TV. Then imagine black metal on TV it's an utopia

I hope all of you realise its only going to be on Norwegian MTV which isnt saying much. When i went to norway the first things you would see in a music store were black metal albums.

hmmm i don't think i get you guys haven't you watched the episodes ?! They clearly show what Ghaal is trying say to the world; most of the people don't understand him (i'm not saying i am). Haven't you seen the last episode - waiting a whole minute hardly moving a muscle, not saying a single word! Maybe he was thinking:"this idiot has no idea what i trying to explain to him" or he was just focusing his mind on something irrelevant for the interview....
What i'm trying to say is, the video is not used for band promotion and getting mainstream, it's more like a documentary. So i believe MTV is still better choice than national channel.

I'm as surprised as all of you WTH is doing Gorgoroth in MTV??
