Darkthrone - New Album On The Way
Darkthrone's guitarist Nocturno Culto has posted following message on his official Myspace page:
"Finally we're done recording the new album F.O.A.D. This album will make lots of debate...I'm pretty sure of it. There will be a small taster in the form of an exclusive EP in July, that will contain exclusive song called 'Hedninger Fra Helvete' in english that means 'Heathens From Hell', and there will be a different recording of the song 'Wisdom Of The Dead' and different vocal version of 'Canadian Metal', plus the Testors coversong 'Bad Attitude'. Expect the album to be released in September. It will contain 9 songs."

Holy fuck, this is some of the fastest writing and recording I've ever heard of! Although, I suppose they don't tour at all, so it's easier to devote themselves to the band. I love The Cult Is Alive, so even if it's in the same style I won't mind at all. Unlike most people, I do not want a Transilvanian Hunger Part II because they've already done that once, and I want their style to evolve, not devolve. Should be interesting though!
