Shining posted the following news item on their MySpace:

"Shining are once again entering The Slaughterhouse on the 28th of April to start recording their 6th studio album. Rickard Bengtsson will once again produce now when his and Kvarforth's differences have been laid aside for professional reasons.

In other news, no bass-player have yet been found to fill the spot after Phil A. Cirone."

However, a short amount of time later they placed another news item saying:

"King Taking Over Phil's Bass Duties.
As we have not yet found any suitable replacement for Phil A. Cirone and the date of recording draws near we have decided to let T.C. King (Gorgoroth) take care of the bass duties on the coming album."

Yes! This will hopefully be amazing!

I really hope King from Boregoroth can keep up Shining's reputation of having an awesome bassist. Shining's bass has always been very important to the music.

Damn that's cool!!!

Yeah Nervel, for sure. Not many comment on the bass, but you're right, it's always been a prominent factor in their music.

Good find on the news man. It's an interesting situation/predicament they're in.

Hah. I didn't know the replacement was from Gorgoroth first time I heard, he'd better impress me on this next shining release because he does nothing for me otherwise.

Yeah mate, that's onej of the reasons Nervel called them Boregoroth in the first comment to this news.
