Cannibal Corpse - N. American Tour Announced

Cannibal Corpse will be hitting the road for 4 weeks in support of their upcoming release "Evisceration Plague", which is set to decimate the metal world on Tuesday February 3rd. Support for the North American tour, presented by Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, will come from The Faceless, Neuraxis, and Obscura and kicks off on April 2nd in Asheville, NC at the Orange Peel.

Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse comments; "We are very excited to be touring the US and Canada with Neuraxis, The Faceless, and Obscura. This is a killer lineup as each band is extreme and heavy but has their own unique style. We're playing a number of cities we rarely get to on this tour, so be sure to check the tour dates closely... you don't want to miss this one!"

Whats the deal with the Seattle hate on these great tours popping up? This makes me a bit frustrated I wanted to See Cannibal Corpse again. I'm not doing a 6+ hour drive to see them though.

I've been a fan of Cannibal Corpse since the release of Butchered At Birth. Evisceration Plague is absolutely murderous. I am seriously contemplating the 16 hour one-way drive to Montreal (or the 20 hour one-way drive to Ottawa) to finally see these guys live. You folks living in the major urban centers have it lucky (you miss them on this tour, you'll see them on the next one) so please don't bitch since bands this big will NEVER come near where I am.
