Suffocation - New Album Details
US death metallers Suffocation will release their new album, "Blood Oath", on July 3, 2009 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Sufocation entered the studio on January 31 with Joe Cincotta (who worked on the band's last two releases) to begin recording "Blood Oath". The album was mixed by Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth) and the cover artwork was once again done by Jon Zig (Deeds Of Flesh, Disgorge, Gorgasm).

Yeh I totally agree with everyone here - seriously cool artwork and definitely along the same lines as classic Dan Seagrave stuff. The old skool Death Metal album art will always be the best, I am a huge Seagrave fan and let's face it, I think he did pretty much 90% of the albums in the early 90's. Suffocation have always been one of my favourite bands and I loved the last album which I think is their best effort since Effigy. Roll on July then!
