Shit that has to hurt... at least he tried.
It will take awhile to get full movement back I think. |
I'm not at all a CoB fan, but that man has some balls.
Major props for at least trying to stick it out (stupid move, though). |
| What a fucking savage. 10 dates with a broken shoulder? jesus. hope it didnt fuck him up in the long run. |
| Not a Bodom fan at all, but i have to give credit where credit is due. he gets my respect for trying to battle it out and continue the tour while AFU. |
Wow....
That's interesting.
Hope he gets better soon, anyways. |
Oh God...You're done Laiho.
Remember when he broke his arm/wrist (i forget which) while bowling prior to the Blooddrunk album? I dont think he was fully able to recover and look at the boring album we got afterwards.
This guy had so much talent and he's wasting it away in booze, drugs, suicide attempts, and injuries. It may be best to listen to Kissing the Shadows and forget about the junk that came afterwards...Still a COB fan, but an old school COB fan. |
| Oh man, that must hurt, but it seems that he really cares for delivering his fans a great show, that is really "the show must go on" attitude haha. |
| Alexi Laiho has my respect for playing the 10 shows in that pain. But it was the right decision to cancel the tour due to this pain, as much as it sucks for the fans. |
| Love him or hate him, you have to respect the man's devotion and will to continue despite his (3rd) arm breaking. |
| Is it just me, or is Laiho breaking into pieces. he's always breaking something, getting sick... |

Have you ever seen the man. Looks like a stiff wind could blow him limb by limb. |
Yeh, that could be it. he's the muscular mass and body type of Monty Burns |
| When I first heard about his new injury last week, I immidiately thought that they should cancel all the gigs until he's fully recovered. I'm glad they did it now that it may not be too late. To me internal bleeding is a good enough reason to cancel a gig, but I guess he thought mixing painkillers and booze would make him immortal. Laiho has had many injuries in the last few years, but at least this time the reason for this one sounds reasonable (unlike, when he broke his ribs, when the guys were hitting each other with pillows...) |
| What an idiot. Then again we all know Alexi is an egomaniac, just like most great guitarists. |
Fan or not you have to tip your hat to the dude...... Fuckin metal if you ask me
Get better Alexi |
Props to Alexi for his dedication.
But no props for slowly but surely drinking his body to death |
| Hail Alexi for his courage to play 10 gigs with broken shoulder lml!! I hope will be healthy again & wtf must come to Greece someday lol!!!!! |
| Wow, thats ridiculous. I don't know how you do play with a broken arm, but definitly give him props for that. |

| He needs to drink more milk. |
Höh...i have a guess he was drunk
this is second accident...remember when he fell down from a car and broke his arm (after many shots of vodka of course)...
Alexi's brave, but irresponsible act (10 gigs..oh fuck!) is noteworthy and venerable...great man! keep on! Horn up! |

Alexi Laiho, World's Best Metal Guitarist... |
| Jeff Loomis is a name that comes to mind that challenges that statement. |
| Man, this guy is fucking injury prone. |
| Maybe he should have chosen a different bunk... |
| He´s the "wildchild" for some reason... |

...read it ^^
Gotta love the dedication and stubbornness! 10 gigs must have taken some toll :/ |

Alexi Laiho, World's Best Metal Guitarist...
Why not? He's not my favourite but I certainly do not "lol" at it, he has some wicked skills. |

| What a stubborn retard. I really love him. |

Countless metal guitarists have "some wicked skills." What they mean has nothing to do with the real meaning of the words they use to express it, the "WBMG" tag is nothing more than a symbol of popularity - deluded and deceitful bullshit, just like all the calls that the band played melodic death metal five years ago |

Of course, I know what you mean. But I still do not "lol" at it and they could have picked much worse musicians. |

| Alexi really loves his fans to the extent he plays with a broken arm/internal bleeding/he is dying deep inside. Damn ... if only we show more support for him .... WE LOVE U !!!! |

I agree. Alexi Laiho really needs to stop spoiling his talent with all kinds of silly things.
Maybe if he didn't take so much booze and drugs he could write good music again, like on CoB's first 3 albums. This band sucks since a while and probably won't go anywhere musically, as long as Laiho will act like an idiot. Not to mention he will end up buried six feet under at a young age, if he carries on like that. He's ruining his health, he looks like an undead. |
