My guess...top 5 in the MS top of 2009 and will win at least an award. Wheter it is good or not.

My crystal ball also predicts it will win the Folk Metal awards 2009, undeservedly.

Who says it will be nominated?

If they win through write-in votes that would be the first time ever a write-in vote wins. I doubt that that will happen.

But honestly - on Victory Songs, i liked at least six songs...so this is something that really makes me think "well, that is pretty good album"...yes, in 2007 there was Moonsorrow's, Arkona's and Turisas' wonderful albums as well, but that doesnt automatically means Ensiferum didnt deserved it...when nothing else - they have best production

It doesn't change the fact that they so not deserved to win the award. Almost every album on that list is better except for Primordial's and Elvenking's albums.

Most of people voted for them, so they got it...it is "problem" of every very famous band...yes, many people are overlooking better but not so well known bands, because they are obsessed with their idols, but on the other hand, that doesnt automatically make famous band bad...

and another think - i guess, you are usually noticing band is "so much overrated", when you personally dislike it...mine examples are Metallica and Eluveitie - i dont like these two so i am always getting mad when someone worships them...Ensiferum i enjoy, so i dont have problems with them being overrated...i would say thats the point
