Ensiferum - Chinese Tour Dates
Finnish metallers Ensiferum have confirmed dates for tour through China in January 2010. The band adds: "We are excited and eager to conquer new territory!"
Confirmed dates are as follows:
Jan. 09 - Beijng, China - Mao Livehouse
Jan. 10 - Xi An, China - Sunset Bar
Jan. 13 - Shanghai, China - Yu Ying Tang
Jan. 15 - Guang Zhou, China - Tekkwun Livehouse
Jan. 17 - Taipei, Taiwan - The Wall Livehouse

Re csiga's comment, has the post since been edited to point out the (very real) distinction between Taiwan and the PRC? If so, bravo. Table ov Black - I don't hear of many tours in China either. Apparently the Nightwish one was completely sold out, and people came from all over the country. Amazing considering the ticket price was twice what it would normally be, more than a month's wages for the average PRC citizen.

Written by Warman on 11.11.2009 at 13:18 indeed! Have heard that those who book shows for venues in Sweden that they think Ensiferum dont have many fans here. I think folk metal is not so big in Sweden either. But i hope they play at some festivals next year at least
