Great band, with great albums such as Black Metal and Welcome to hell the music on them is simple but very good
And I did mangage to listen to Metal Black like a lot of people said it wasn't that good it was alright though

Went last night to the Venom concert here. It was absolutely wild, heavy, and louder than fucking hell. I totally support Cronos for firing the other two original members and hiring guys who can actually play their instruments, and for getting his shit together on bass too. For the first minute of the opening song (you know which that is) though, someone forgot to turn his mic on, it was hilarious to see everyone sing along  but then again what's a Venom show without some of the classic low-budget problems?The second encore, and last song they did, was Witching Hour. Everyone in the front was demanding it after "In League With Satan". I was literally like this:

Venom is great! I loved them since -85 and Black Metal is still one of the most extreme songs of all times.

Just read an interview with Cronos in a swedish music mag about the new album. I haven't heard it so any input is appreciated? Edit: Just found out that it will be released on November 28. Btw I heard a preview song called "Punk's not dead" and it sounded promising!

Well it didn't but now it has arrived and I've listened to it twice. It might be controversial but I honestly believe that this is the best album to wear the Venom logo since the mid 80's.

Written by Infernal Eternal on 19.03.2012 at 21:01 Yeah I agree. It's dirty, thundering and random in a way that's hard to beat. On the first two or three albums it's perfect but then it was lost more and more I think but the latest album is a return to form.
