Impetigo were definatly an underestimated gore band, Their First demo live "All We Need Is Cheez" and "Ultimo Mondo Cannibale" is just great and funny. Pitty i never got to see them live. As for Repulsion, yeah Horified is all i heard of them, and from my knowledge all they put out ? Best songs: Impetigo "My Lai" Repulsion "Eaten Alive"

They did a 2 disc of horrified which I picked up with loads of demos and eps from before they were called Repulsion, as far as I know they released nothing after Horrified, which happens to be awesome  Never heard of Impetigo at all but will check out.... now!

Sometimes, drowning in all the modern bullshit polluting these forums there is a thread about good metal to be found around here. This is one of those threads. Repulsion were among the pioneers of really brutal music, and deserves the respect of every metalhead who has ever listened to the more extreme variants of death metal. Now, compared to most of the bands that would later play gore-tinged grindcore, Repulsion actually didn't suck. In fact, they ruled, and the music still stands strong. This is one of the top tier bands of extreme music, in fact. Anyone that hasn't listened to repulsion should sure as hell do that. Impetigo, on the other hand, is a very unique band. It is also one of the few bands that can pull of the ridiculous gore themes without sucking ass. Big props to them, as Horror Of The Zombies is a fine ass piece of dirty grind/death metal. Yeah, I like these bands.
