Fires of Babylon is a newly formed band cranking out classic 1980s-style shredding U.S. heavy metal. The group features in its ranks the highly skilled and lauded lineup of guitarist Lou St. Paul (Winters Bane), vocalist Rob Rock (Rob Rock, Joshua, Warrior, Impellitteri, guest on Avantasia, M.A.R.S.,...) bassist Kelly Conlon (ex-Death, Monstrosity) and drummer Robert Falzano (Shatter Messiah, ex-Annihilator). Just listened to the clips on their MySpace. It's really good. Too bad it's only clips and not whole songs, but I really liked it. Might buy the album if I come across it.
