Haha yeah that one's pretty kick ass too, all the early Slayer albums seem to own eh South Of Heaven has an awesome one as well. Quite detailed if you take a minute to look it all over.

I like the cover of Hypocrisy's first album "Penetralia"... a sinister corridor sorrounded by serpent tongues that leads to a kind of empty void... it's very scary.

@C-Dub. Goddamn, that one slays! It is really a great piece of work. I love those covers that are really detailed, where you can keep finding new stuff in.

Saying that, my vote goes to Dissection's Storm of the Light's Bane

It's just so damn good. I love Necrodeth's artwork (he did that Bathory cover, I think). It's so cool looking, without the usual satanic imagery present in Black metal albums. The music kicks ass as well.

Immortal's At the Heart of Winter is good, too.

This is my all-time favourite album cover. Really, really awesome.....too bad they messed up the original cover when they re-released it. In keeping with their electronic music, they made a totally diff cover.
