Mastodon - Once More 'Round The Sun

I hate salad.

But yeah, Misanthropic Art seems to have two modes: extremely forgettable or extremely awesome.

The latest Hudson Horror one he did is extremely pretty simply because of the colour used.

Salad. That is one of the worst covers for Mastodon tbh apart from The Hunter's which is fairly digestable compared to this. All of their other ones are friggin' awesome.

Nah, not really. They all look stale and boring.

I don't know why but their work follows a monotonous framework of art and craft that by looking over once, you will see a hell lot of familiarity.

Its not a "they", just a guy named Chris Keisling working under that moniker.

A very underrated record on MS, with brilliant art.

Seems eventhough I am a sucker of most things I, Voidhanger I am only aware of the works of my favorite artists there like Spectral Lore, Howls of ebb etc. Will have to check out that record as I don't remember having listened to it back in '13.

The 777 and Liber covers might be their best but frankly I dig this new artwork a lot which might be blasphemy to people who have a heavy emotional connection with that but frankly I'm not one of those. So this gives an even more darker and epic feel to the record. Such fantastic choice by Debemur Morti.

It is better than the Candllelight re-release version. But I still prefer the Original Appease Me Records version.

It is. It's one of my favourite 2003 releases (and it might even be my favourite release by them though "The Towers Of Avarice" is also really good). I've never been disappointed by them. This is also the album with my favourite song of them on it. "Voice Of Reason"

Crepusculo Negro tend to bring the goods when it comes to artworks. From simple to very complex.









For some reason I really love this one in particular, the faces and everything look so bizarre and unnerving. I wonder if they are some sort of dolls instead of people wearing costumes.

Just change the https secured protocol to the normal http one for images. For some weird (or security, no idea!) reasons, the secured tag doesn't make the images visible. Or maybe you already noted it by quoting me hehehe.

You'd better hurry rightaway, I don't think it'll last long. Its just unbelievably good and looks even better on the shirt. Wonder where they got it from as I initially thought it was from z grade movie or something. Just looks weirdly masterful for something diy.

Yeah I'm keeping an eye on it in case it says x-amount remaining or if it certain sizes cease to be available. Seems ok for the moment! And yeah I feel like it's from something but I've not seen anyone mention anything so I guess it probably isn't.

These guys sure as hell can't make half decent music ever again. 5 seconds of it and you've heard the whole record. Quite bassy stuff but nothing more than that. The cover is such well done and looks cool though. Almost like a marble texture or a picture of planetary surface of Jupiter or saturn or just a random color mixed artwork. Snazzy at any rate.
