Slayer, Entombed and Machine head!!

They are the best live bands!!

The best live band, is whit out doubt, Motörhead.
Every song is played 1,5 times faster than the original, every band member gives 110%, some nice humour usually...
+ Extra points for Lemmy. Awesome guy.

I'd have to say Emperor would have to be my choice for BLB. Just the mere fact that Ishahn can play such intense & complex riffs while singing at the same time with such a clean tone is just astonishing. The kind of sound I expect to hear from a band onstage at the same quality that I hear on their cds.

The return of Alex Scholnick to Testament, I enjoyed that one to the max!, they know how to give great shows.
...I want to see Motorhead! I would give 50% of my blood to get a ticket and finally see them, I know for sure that would be one of the greatest concert experiences in my life.

The best performences I've seen are Metallica and Sodom. Tom Angelripper's voice is just amazing live, and the energy from the other members are great.

Metallica just isn't comparable.

EDIT: I also think that Immortal gave a pretty good show when I saw them.

Megadeth have been fantstic both times i've seen them, though i've seen the dvd "That one night..." and they were fucking awful.

But clutch is by far the best band i've seen live...loned every minute of it.

Even if they didn't play escape from the prison planet.

Ha ha...yeah he is an awful drummer, kirk writes good solo's, but botches them live.
being able to see metallica in the 80's would have been great, but being born in 85...not much chance

And... yes a suprise Slipknot. I suppose Im gonna get shit for this but if you look at their live stuff they interact with the crowd really well and they have a crazy amount of energy

Dream Theater - They play Flawless!!

Slayer, Mötorhead, Apocalyptica, Sonata Arctica and Iron Maiden. They are better playing live.

And Sepultura.

no they dont, LaBrie cant sing, his vocals are horrid live, and Petrucci cant play his own solos, sloppy as fuck

In my opinion Metallica is a very good live band, Machine Head is also very impressive live. But also Iron Maiden, not only because the songs they always play, but Bruce Dickinson is a real entertainer.
A big dissapointment is Korn, they play excelent live, seen them allot of times now, but each time I missed something special there, some crowd interaction.

The best live show i've ever seen is kamelot. I've seen so about 50 bands live and Kamelot made the best show and is live better then on cd...

Lamb of god, Gojira opeth and Metallica i've seen them all live!

Rammstein has great live performance. interesting and sometimes funny. like that endless pissing of Till. or their fireworks that are great... i enjoy Live Aus Berlin.

Municipal Waste was one fucking hell of a show, the fans are freakin' crazy! Slayer kicked my ass badly too and Iron Maiden back in 2003 was an excellent show to, Dickinson's vocals are brilliant live. I saw some old pics over the internet from Suicidal Tendencies shows, back in the 80s, and when I look at the moshpits and moshcircles, I just wish I would have been there to get my ass kicked.

The absolute best live bands are Iron maiden and Ac/dc, they never fail live.
Worth to mention is Motorhead.

The Best Live BAND. u dont get me wrong. why u are talkin about a singer? we are talkin about performance and yeah vocals ,bass, guitars, and the kind of passion which bands give u at lives.
thats why metallica's lives have more visitors even at festivals yeah?
jaymz's voice is crap after 2000 so what u can say before it? no it wasnt crap it was PERFECT

and I dont understand how people can post her eif tahy havnt seen those bands live , thos eposta re nonsence, people like one band thay vote 10 and say that band are BEST in live, go see them firt then tell us

Yes thay was in Turky and in Turky was a lot of band sbut prissoner huh man I dont sad it but travveling need money and I wont go such way from Iran to Turky see bands I hate traveling , if soemone drive, take luagage for em ok but If I shood carry all by my self I prefere trevel channel
