Interesting lineup. At least you don't get all the bands our German pagan metal festivals feature all the time (Korpi, Moonsorrow, Turisas, Týr, ...), but some variety for a change. Would love to see Obtest.

He thinks it will ruin it just because he doesn't like the band (but then again he also thinks Primordial are shit). But IMO Melechesh is superior to any of the other bands there.

welll it's called "Cernunnos Pagan Festival" and most of the line up are European Folk metal and Folk. I think it will sound very awkward (well at least for me) to see a middle eastern styled black metal band headlining the Fest. I have nothing against Melechesh, I saw them live when they were for the first in The Netherlands and it was pretty cool and Emissaries is a very soild album.

If you're referring to Heathen Crusade, that one ain't that bad at all. Well, it wasn't that bad before they replaced 1/3 of their lineup of this year's edition. Still, their past lineups have always been top-notch and interesting. And I'd love to see a European festival having the guts to get Rudra.

Its tomorrow!!!!! YEAH!!! I'm soooo excited!!!! I'll be SO great!!!

edit: indeed so was it! really awesome, almost all the bands were terrific (well, not the medieval-without-bagpipe one, Tempradura, and the hrpist, but as it was no only metal event, it was great they were here)! The Barbarian Games were SO funny (even if I lost almost all of them). It was he best gig of the year (I didn't went to Hellfest)!

It was an awesome gig !

Valholl, Night Creeper, Black Messiah, Folkstone and Obtest were my favorites. Melechesh was great to, but they were only six drunken guys in the moshpit, and a drunken moshpit is definitely shity!
I also get hurted in one of the moshpits and my nose bled a lot, it was SO good, I had blood all over, I aspired it from the inner and made it pour out of my mouth. Metal, blood and early middle age: what else?
