What would you do if you either win as a prize, or a friend/relative gives you as a present a signature instrument, from a musician you don't like?

i.e. i think Kirk Hammet is more overrated than pumpkin pie. but if i were to receive his ESP signature model would i give it away or something?

the answer is: maybe, if i were to find a good deal to get a guitar that i like, i might sell it and use the cash to buy it, but until then i'll play the thing.

I think I would sell that object on eBay or something, there's probably a lot of people who would do crazy things for it.

yeah, i mean, what guy you dislike so much you wouldn't even keep his signature guitar(bass, drum set, triangle, sitar etc) you've obtained for free?

Well, if the guy is not an idol for me, so if I don't consider him a God or simply don't know him I'd sell the item...dude it could be a lot of money.
Example: I'd sell an Alexi Laiho guitar, considering that I don't like CoB as I did before and a lot of fanboys would sell their soul for it!

I used to want that KH-signature

To be honest, I couldn't give a flying fuck about who's signature the guitar is if it's a good guitar. Something that rarely happens with signatures (at least price/quality wise).

I'd probably sell every "signature instrument" I win, as I don't care about them and don't play an instrument anyway (anymore). Unless it would be a real cool thing, and I could for example use it as decoration, for example a very evil-looking guitar. Otherwise, I'd sell it. If I'd get it from friends, I wouldn't, because I don't sell gifts.

The only thing I wouldn't sell are Attila's vocal chords, but having those in my possession would probably be illegal.

I would get a sharpie and fake autograph it then sell for loads of cash on ebay. I would even print out a certificate of authenticity.

Well, I don't want anything, that's surely clear.

If I win something like that.. I would probably sell it or give it away, but if it is a present, I wouldn't sell or give it away. Present is present.
