This poll is mostly about gothic metal with only female vocals. So I have named some bands above, pick your favourite one of those, and if there is any other one, than also name it in your comment.
Generally this genre is probably one of my favourites, so I have realy hard decided which band would be the best one. Anyway, I have considered and choosed Eyes Of Eden (http://www.myspace.com/eyesofedenband). German band which have till now released one album, called Faith (2007). It is a great staff, the vocal is strong and emotional, guitars and drumms are also powerful and various.
Definitely worth of listening by this album for gothic fans...

Lacuna is a good choice but there are many another gothic with female vocals bands like nightwish and WT

I don't really like most of gothic bands and long time that I have lost my hope with them but I still think the only one which is worthy one to mention is the old Tristania with Vibeke.The Sins of Thy Beloved was also good but not an excellent one. Considering that here in MS Madder Mortem is atmospheric gothic but I believe they are so far of that genre but if I consider them Gothic Atmospheric too so yeah Madder Mortem is my all time fav.

Yes I agree, Agnete is by far my favourite vocalist in the Gothic genre. I'd say that she has one of the most unique voices in metal, nothing compares to her style. Very powerful and chilling.

That's what I like most about her style, she isn't just 'another of those gothic vocalists', she has a style all of her own, very clever indeed.
