This band needs no introduction.

To start things off, what do people think of Vargs' writings about paganism that are posted on his website ((www.burzum.org)?

Damn, I was looking into the 2010 reissue of the Burzum/Aske compilation, which means the featured version of A Lost Forgotten Sad Spirit is the very same of the debut. Still, thank you very much for the report

No problem.

Just to make it clearer, I think it's like this:

Burzum: Original version
Aske: Samoth version
Burzum/Aske (original): Samoth version
Burzum/Aske (after jail version): Both versions

Yeah, right. Also this Burzum/Aske 2010 reissue is the first time the debut was "fully" released on CD.

Well it (Burzum - Burzum) was released by Deathlike Silence Productions, so I'm not sure what you mean.

Yeah, Deathlike Silence released it, but only three diferent pressings all in vynil, and I'm sure it was not a worldwide release...

Watched it yesterday too, and couldn't help myself laughing a bit when the first thing Varg does is tell all over again his side of the Euronymous murder as if he was still trying to convince someone he was inocent

Hmmmmm otherwise, well not much to say. Basically him and his wife telling their side of the story when they recently got arrested. Which isn't a bad thing considering how clumsy the autorities were. The "survival" part at the end was quite fun and interesting.
